After graduating from Topeka High in 2018, Isac didn’t immediately pursue further education. However, his interest in the electrical trade was sparked years later when he observed an electrician installing a circuit for his AC unit. This experience led him to enroll at Washburn Tech, where he found his passion.
At Washburn Tech, Isac embraced both the hands-on learning and the sense of community. As an older student, he mentored his younger classmates, helping them navigate the program. The experience was transformative, giving him the confidence to pursue this new career.
Now thriving in his apprenticeship, Isac enjoys the daily challenges of electrical work, especially problem-solving. The satisfaction of restoring power and seeing customers’ relief motivates him to continue growing in the field.
